Review: TYRIAN 2000

Tyrian is a classic DOS shoot-em-up with a fun, arcade-y soundtrack.

It's also quite difficult, so I just some cheats to give myself some extra money to buy upgrades for the gameplay video..but still died at the first boss at the end -.-

I included some high-energy songs here, like Sarah's song and the Tyrian level music. There's also a bit more mysterious music, like the Asteroid Dance.

The composer Alexander Brandon (Wiki) is also known from the demoscene, of which the influence you can hear in these songs I think..He would later work on titles like Unreal and Deus Ex as well.
