One of the best games of all time (and a personal favorite), Final Fantasy 7 also has a great soundtrack. It has its own wiki because of the countless covers, related movies and multiple OST releases.

With a soundtrack spanning over 4 hours and 80+ tracks, it is hard to pick a few favorites for listening here.

Some of the tracks were covered by the composer's (Nobuo Uematsu) own coverband 'The Black Mages'. Other tracks get a cover in the movie 'Advent Children'. Especially Sephiroth's team gets a great rendition in the movie.

There's so much going on in the game in terms of emotion, action, drama, humor and plot-twists; for each and every scene and mood there's a perfect background track.
